Lumberyard Lovebirds // in print
I always like it when a client has a more unconventional project for me to work on, and Kara and Tim's save the date invite was no exception. After their lumberyard engagement shoot, I got a request for a print project that involved:
1. A gateway fold layout
2. Photos from their engagement shoot
3. A collage of nature surrounding them
4. Some kind of signage for the info
5. An area for magnets on the back
6. Oh, and make it mini. :)
I love how the invite turned out, and so have their guests... now I'm itching for these guys' LA wedding in July!

Lumberyard Lovebirds // Kara & Tim
Never underestimate the magical powers of wood flooring and a jungle of succulents. I only hope I can rebuild my new home in this fashion... my "more plants more better" motto has been stymied by our wee moving crate and its lack of bennies en route east. Cross your fingers for Hannah's plant babysitting skills and for my pie in the sky homestead greenhouse...

Crazy-making // and the case of the Coming Soons
My lack of recent posting has likely clued you in a wee bit on the pace of my life right about now... suffice it to say this girl is one cardboard box away from certifiable. Aside from making sure I'm fed and watered, my primary concerns have been packing, traveling, shooting, organizing, and soaking in my dear friend Portland as much as I can before deserting her for the wild wild east. The last few months here have been a whirlwind of delightful opportunities, kindred spirits, fun projects, and mind-bending adventures, so enjoy a few snippets while ya can...

Flight of Fancy // Jenny & Allen
These two flew all the way from Chicago for a little Pacific Northwest adventuring. They hung off bridges, rolled in the grass, tramped through the woods, crab walked in the alley, browsed at Powells, coffee-ed at Stumptown, and pillow-fought at the Ace. Very stoked for their October Polish/Filipino bash...
